10th Grade

As underclassmen, it might seem like there is little to do in terms of college application preparation until junior or senior year. However, one can set themselves up for success during their upperclassmen years by preparing well during the beginning of high school. I will help sophomores reach their fullest potential by:

  • Surveying their strengths, weaknesses, and interests to provide specific recommendations for extracurriculars to get involved in

  • Creating short- and long-term goals for their academics and/or extracurriculars and making a plan to achieve them

  • Recommending classes based on their academic achievement and interests

  • Providing study techniques to help them succeed in their classes

  • Researching summer activities to build upon their interests and portfolio

  • Holding regularly scheduled meetings to give advice and hold them accountable
